WHAT ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED?

For the safety and security of all guests, certain items are not permitted inside the event. Prohibited items include weapons of any kind, umbrellas, outside food or beverages, chairs, large or non-clear bags (larger than 12" x 6" x 12"), coolers, drones, fireworks, professional camera equipment without media credentials, noisemakers, instruments, laser pointers, marketing materials, and pets (except for service animals), among other restricted items. All guests and their belongings are subject to inspection upon entry. Please review the full list of prohibited items in Know Before You Go information distributed closer to the event.


IS THERE A BAG POLICY?

CAN I BRING A CAMERA?

Allowed bags:

  • Clear plastic/vinyl/PVC bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”

  • Clear bags must be free of buckles, grommets/hardware, or décor that could conceal the bag’s contents

  • Small clutch bags up to 4.5” x 6.5” (with or without a handle)

  • Fanny packs/crossbody bags up to 12” x 6” x 4”

All bags and containers are subject to search upon entry. Guests who do not allow a search will not be permitted to enter.


What’S the weather Policy?

Live On Sunset is a rain or shine event.


IS A TICKET REQUIRED FOR ENTRY? 

Yes. Sunset Blvd is accessible via several LA Metro and local bus routes that serve Sunset Blvd, San Vicente Blvd, Santa Monica Boulevard and the surrounding area. Due to street closures during the event weekend, routes may be adjusted. We recommend checking Metro schedules and service alerts closer to the event date and allowing extra travel time. 

IS THE CONCERT ACCESSIBLE VIA PUBLIC TRANSIT?

WHAT ARE THE COMMUNITY RULES FOR LIVE ON SUNSET?

WILL THERE BE MEDICAL STAFF ON SITE?

Yes! Small handheld cameras for personal use are welcome, including phone cameras and point-and-shoot cameras. Professional camera equipment such as detachable lenses, large rigs, tripods, monopods, or external flashes is not permitted without approved media credentials.


MY BUSINESS, RESIDENCE, OR PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT IS WITHIN THE EVENT FOOTPRINT, HOW WILL I GET ACCESS?  

Yes. Medical teams will be on site throughout the concert and will be available for any guests who need assistance.


Be courteous to other patrons. Do not disrupt other patrons with disrespectful, unruly, or hostile actions or behavior. Inappropriate behavior should be reported to the nearest usher, security or other Live On Sunset event staff.

Comply with requests from safety personnel regarding event operations and emergency response procedures.

Be courteous to the residents and businesses of the neighborhood surrounding the Concert when entering and exiting the event.

Alcoholic beverages must be consumed in a responsible manner. Anyone who appears to be impaired by or under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance may be denied entry to or ejected from the event.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the Concert. The use of smokeless tobacco products is also prohibited in these areas of the Concert.

Possession and/or use of marijuana on the event premises is prohibited.

Guns, weapons, and other materials deemed hazardous or dangerous by event personnel are prohibited.

Foul/abusive language and obscene gestures are prohibited. Illegal drugs/narcotics are prohibited from the Concert.

No hateful or obscene signs or banners of any kind are allowed in the Concert.

All persons entering the Concert are subject to reasonable search to protect the safety of the public and to ensure compliance with this Patron Code of Conduct.

All persons entering the Concert will be expected to abide by all applicable federal, state and local laws.

Live On Sunset event personnel reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove any guest at any time for inappropriate behavior or failure to comply with these community rules.


Yes, a scannable ticket is required for entry. Tickets are free. Ticket registration opens on Wednesday, October 14 at 10:00AM PT. Ticketed guests are guaranteed entry to the event. 


Look for the LOCAL ACCESS LANE at the event entry at San Vicente and Sunset Blvd for pedestrian access into the event if you live or work within the closure to bypass ticket scanning lanes. Please note you will still be required to pass through security scans and oversized bags are not permitted. No vehicle access is permitted at any time during the road closure.



WILL THERE BE ANY ROAD CLOSURES?

IS THE EVENT ADA ACCESSIBLE?

Sunset Boulevard between San Vicente Boulevard/Clark Avenue and North Doheny Drive from Friday, November 13, at 12:00 p.m. through Sunday, November 15, at 12:00 p.m. Side streets one block north and south of the closure will also be closed.

Sunset Boulevard between San Vicente Boulevard/Clark Avenue and Larrabee Street and San Vicente Blvd. between Harratt Street and Sunset Boulevard on Saturday, November 14, from 12:00 p.m. through 11:59 p.m.


Yes! ADA accommodations are available throughout the event.
